Our site has been updated. Easier navigation, clearer layout, less confusion, hope to have more people joining us. Many people from around the Earth have contributed their clips of sunrises to us. WOW!

Anybody here???

These few days, we non-stop spreading our web in different medias, we have youtube, blogger, forum, travellog...blablabla... Some did think we are spamming there mail, leaving advertising message there. Honestly, we feel down sometimes, we seem have no way to contact them other than that. But, still, there are some good news. Thanks God, there are people do like our idea. They have positive feedbacks, some do reply and have interest to join us, it is really encouraging, but till now, there isn't any cam been set up yet, except HK. We really are looking forward to the day that our dream comes true. We know it is idiot, but we still believe it.

Brainstorming...

so far we have only HongKong and Argentina having a cam set up.
and it's time for us to do something more, seek for actions.

A WOOW news!

Thank you very very very very much for your friendly friendly friendly supports! We have a big progress on our project. Technically, we have solved the problem on "broadcasting". We are planning to do something before we can acheive our ultimate "LIVE" goal.

We have found out some web streaming services in the Internet. (Camstreams, Ustreams.tv) and many software allowing webcams to be converted into a live broadcasting camera(Active Webcam, WebCamXp). The whole list has been uploaded to http://www.neverendingsun.net/solutions.html

YOU ARE INVITED to setup your live camera at your home, capturing the sky outside your window, (not necessarily to be a sunrise at this stage). We will provide you our server to broadcast your camera if needed.

Tell us once you have prepared your sky. Let every one watches your sky outside of your window. Every one will be able to watch your sky changing colors like a rainbow.

Woow NEWS!

Woow woow woow,
Thanks to Nick's camera, we have now set up the first camera capturing the sunrise in Hong Kong. It is at 66 degree (Whole Circle Bearing). If you want to watch the sunrise in Hong Kong, wake up at 5.30am, brush your teeth and wash your face, enjoy the sunrise at 5.45am! It is really exciting to watch other countries' sunrises live! Monitoring equipment does not capture robbers alone, it can be something fun! Try to use your high-tech stuff in a high-touch way.

R! We have decided to set a webcam monitoring ourself in our working tiny room in Hong Kong. You can see us live! So call us or ask us to say hello to you in front of the cam! You can see us dancing, eating, sleeping, working live in front of your desk.

I think we better explain you how it works. So, you may try that in your own house.
All the equipment you need to have is simply a webcam, with a PC. And then download a software which allows you to broadcast. There are many already, the one we use is called Active Webcam, which can be downloaded in their website: http://www.pysoft.com.
And then you can just follow the instruction of the software and share the sunrise with people from the other corner of the Earth, if you can see the sunrise from your house.
